A little about this space
This gallery space in Copeland Park in Peckham is perfect for holding a large scale event. This South East London area is a bustling neighbourhood of independent eateries, local shops and cool bars. The space on offer is spread across four exhibition rooms. Each of the rooms is of a similar size and interior. The walls are painted white and the flooring is exposed concrete. The decor is a ‘rough around the edges’ chic with the ceiling being the key feature. Peeling paint and exposed steel and piping give the space an industrial feel. There is also a separate room at the rear with toilets. The space has been left in good condition with the walls having been recently painted. This is a great opportunity to throw an event in a up-and-coming area.

Space rules
Hours are in general from 9-9pm but these can be changed subject to approval.
VAT is payable on the Rent.
A damage deposit will be required - the exact figure is to be negotiated subject to proposal.
Tenants are required to organise their own liability insurance for their period of occupation
Installations: To be mechanically fixed to walls only – the use of adhesives is not permitted. You are strictly prohibited to paint directly onto the concrete feature wall in the foyer room. We require you to remove all plugs, sand, refill and paint the walls after use. All equipment for this can be found in the storage cupboard A. Please gain permission from Copeland Park before hanging equipment on the lighting rigs. Please ensure the floor is covered before painting the walls. Curtain rails with black curtains are optional – you are welcome to bring your own curtain material. Signage to be fixed to the dedicated square panel on the black doors only – see section 6 for more information.
Noise: External spaces cannot be used after 22.00. No live or DJ music to be played outside at any time. Sound inside must be limited to 75db. To keep noise to a minimum for our neighbours, we recommend closing the concertina doors between the entrance and the bar room to create a door-width space. If we receive noise complaints or your event runs over, we reserve the right to retain your deposit.
Signage: There are 3 signage options. There is an A1 light-up poster box to the left of the main entrance doors. Flyers and signage can be applied to A-frame signs hired from Copeland Park. There is also a square panel on the black main entrance doors. Please do not fix signage anywhere else on these doors.
Licensed operating hours: Retail of alcohol 23.00. Entertainment 23.30. Building Vacated 00.00.
Waste: Please either remove your waste off site or use bins requested as part of your hire. If you have used bins that have not been paid for, a charge will be applied.
Vehicles and parking: Vehicles are permitted 15mins delivery/collection free of charge, following this it’s £2 per hour or £10 per day (07:00 - 20:00) for cars, and £3 per hour or £15 per day for vans. Parking is first come first served and the car park is open 06.30 - 23.00 every day. If you are able to park inside Holdron’s Yard, the fenced outdoor space adjacent to Copeland Gallery, you will still be charged for parking.
