Famous to anyone living and working in Hackney, Mare Street is the borough’s main road. Connecting local landmarks like Netil House and The Dolphin with Hackney Empire theatre and the main train station. As well as housing plenty of places to eat, drink and play, the street is now home to a London College of Fashion campus. So prepare for some high style customers. This F&B space used to be a tapas restaurant and is in great condition. Most of the fixtures will go, but you can see the potential for creating your own inspiring space. Facilities include a working kitchen, outside seating space, a bar area, room for storage and a basement for extra seating. And cool features include exposed brickwork, and a long bar to one side of the room. There's also an alcohol license. Other popular haunts and hangouts along Mare Street include The Cock Tavern, home of the Howling Hops microbrewery, Hackney Bureau restaurant and Paper Dress Vintage shop.
