Atherton Street, Manchester - The Old Granada Studio Six

Set within the Old Granada Studios on one of Manchester’s most bustling streets is Studio 6. Previously used from 1956-2013 as a recording house, the studio has a fascinating history, and is now available for events. It's a good sized space, suitable for any number of ideas. From large gigs - Mr Scruff recently played here - to sound and visual recording, experiential events, or a creative launch. There is a lighting truss and a line for a curtain, in addition to a cat walk at the top for technicians to access. The studio is flexible in their facilities, allowing producers to adapt it to their requirements. Adjacent to the River Irwell, the studio is within walking distance of the People’s History Museum, MOSI Air & Space Hall, and The Kitchens Leftbank. Located within an up-and-coming area of Manchester, there is an intriguing repertoire of cultural and creative things to see.
