Poet Charly Cox has written a love letter to independent shops for our Save The Street campaign.
This is a call to action for all of us to take back control and support our local shops, to make sure the places we love are still there for us to return to when the world opens back up.
In Charly's words: "The streets are the lifeblood of our society. From the tiny cafés, bars and bakeries, to the independent shops and pop-up galleries - these are the places where we meet with friends to tell our stories and celebrate our successes. Appear Here have been instrumental in taking action to democratize the High Street, enabling young entrepreneurs by making it possible for them to dream big. There has never been a more important time to save our streets, and if we don’t act now then we stand to risk losing these sacred spaces forever."
