Here’s what’s keeping Emily entertained this weekend.
Read:
Open Book by Jessica Simpson Say what you will (I guarantee it's circulating in my head as well), but it came highly recommended by a friend. I'm finding from it the same satisfaction I got from Us Weekly as a teen (for which I should also be ridiculed.) I'm also just a big fan of vulnerability.
Watch:
McMillions It's the story of the monopoly game fraud at McDonald's. I grew up on McDonald's and the game, so I find it riveting. I had no clue someone had conned the winnings!
Listen:
Radio Garden My heart aches for my home city of New York, and I just discovered I can listen to all of its radio stations here. You can listen to radio stations all over the world, actually.
Shop:
Mohair Throw I'm not buying much lately beyond groceries, but I did just splurge on this blanket because I'm spending time on the couch for the first time in my life.
Inspiration:
Bored Solutions I think I came across this site in The New York Times. It's filled with ideas for ways to fill our time/entertain ourselves right now, including virtual cooking classes, concerts, and poetry prompts.
