Six months ago, a ship set sail with the grand mission of uncovering the most exciting and unusual drinks from around the world. On Thursday the 12th of December the ship dropped anchor at Hoxton Docks and unloaded its treasure.
Drink Feast is a 3 day immersive drink festivals (think the secret cinema of the bar world) bringing together some of London’s best pop up bars and drinks all under one roof, each creating their own sensory experience for thirsty adventurers.
Amongst those exhibiting their creative concoctions were The Rum Runner, a 1920’s prohibition style speakeasy, whose intricately flavoured cocktails were a favourite of many, Shoreditch Grind with a seasonal selection of coffee cocktail, The Travelling Gin Company whose G&T enthused jellies are deceptively alcoholic and The Dine Mile High serving up liquid refreshments inspired by the golden age of air travel. Disco moves from Barchick and hot food served up by the Street Kitchen carried the night through. But be warned, there were many more surprises in store...
Eccentric, theatrical and well very boozy. This really is a drinking experience like no other. So if that’s wet your appetite, you’re in luck it’s open for one last night and you’d be mad to miss it.
